Albert Cordahi, JD, LLM

Founder & Principal Attorney

I founded Corda Law with a clear mission: to bring elite-level estate planning expertise to Virginia families and individuals from all walks of life. I believe that a well-crafted estate plan isn’t just a luxury for the wealthy—it is a fundamental act of care for those you love.

A Legacy of High-Stakes Expertise

Before opening my practice in Virginia, I spent over a decade at the center of the financial world. Managing complex estates at major financial firms in Dallas and Silicon Valley, I served as a trusted advisor for ultra-high-net-worth clients with assets spanning the globe. This background gave me a master-class education in the nuances of tax efficiency, asset protection, and multi-generational wealth transfer.

Built for the Modern Family

While my professional roots are in the corporate world, the heart of Corda Law is deeply personal. After becoming a father, my perspective shifted. I realized that the same sophisticated legal protections used by the ultra-wealthy were often missing for the everyday families who need them most. I opened Corda Law to provide that same high-touch, expert counsel while regaining the most valuable asset of all—time with my family.

Academic Excellence

My technical precision is backed by some of the most respected legal institutions in the country:

  • Georgetown University Law Center: I earned my LL.M. in Taxation, an advanced degree that allows me to navigate the intricate tax implications that define successful estate planning.

  • The University of Texas at Austin: I received my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Texas Law, which is consistently recognized as an elite, top-tier institution and one of the most prestigious law programs in the nation.

When I’m not in the office, I’m likely reading, spending time with my family, or hands-on with a DIY remodeling project at our home.
